Willy the one-eyed monster

Willy the cyclops - character design.

BIO:
Willy and his team of cyclops are actually secret unlockable characters in the game of Monster Rugby.

Originally a baseball group, they don't play by the rules of rugby, and instead, uses props and tactics of baseball. They are a special breed of one-eyed monsters with tiny hands and feet in comparison to their body proportions thus making them top-heavy and kind of clumsy. To compensate for his small hands, Willy uses a Baseball glove to help him catch the rugby balls, while his team mates use an assortment of baseball gears such as the base ball bat, and even shield.

Color is off, lighting is off, nevertheless, still proud of my first ever composited shot!

Such is life.

Life drawing to me is capturing the form, volume and of rhythm of the human figure. I hope to learn more if this in the future, if I have the chance.

Storyboarding

1) A man walks out of a Job Agency looking depressed.



2)



3) Dark clouds formed in the sky, as the man looks up and sighs. Lightning flashed and reveals a dark figure emerging from behind one of the (billboards?)



4) The hairy leg of the unknown character is revealed.



5) Man unknowingly walks into a Dark Isolated Alley. Bottom half of a posted with the words "WANTED" shows similar hairy legs that was show in "4". Sinister-looking shadow follows the man.



6) As the shadow gradually covers the man, he stops abruptly.



7) Man sees the looming silhouette.



8) Breaking into cold sweat, the man turns around nervously...




9) ...And gets the shock of his life as he sees a man in a hamburger suit standing there, pointing to the poster that says " Part-timers WANTED"
